Chris Pine preps for “War”

Film follows two childhood best friends who attempt to destroy each other, and by default New York City, after falling for the same woman.

Pine’s male co-star hasn’t been casted of yet according to Empire Online. Fox apparently wants Seth Rogen, but the actor hasn’t confirmed. Pine is stepping in for Bradley Cooper who dropped out in February. Production is set for July.

“War” has been brewing at Fox for the last 12 years. Most recent version was penned by Timothy Dowling who made us laugh with “Role Models.”
