Madonna is busy directing a movie

By Hollywood News Staff

Hollywoodnews.com: Music makes Madonna, make the movies. The singer announced that she’s putting her pop career on hold because she’s directing “W.E.,” a drama about King Edward VIII and Mrs. Simpson.

Film is not to be confused with “W.C.”, which stands for water closet or bathroom in Europe.

Talking to The Sun, Madonna said, “I don’t have a record deal right now. This movie has just consumed every inch of me. Between that and my four children, I don’t have the time or the energy for anything else.”

It is amazing that Madonna gets to direct movies. The last indie film she helmed 2008’s“Filth and Wisdom” about three London flatmates crashed at the box office making $22,406.
