Russell Crowe is “a romantic” says wife
By Hollywood News Staff
Hollywoodnews.com: Sure, Russell Crowe might threaten the life out of a “Gladiator” producer and New York hotel employees, but make no mistake, he’s a softie.
Heralding Crowe’s teddy bear side is his wife Danielle Spencer. And what perfect timing or Spencer to bring this up: just when Crowe has “Robin Hood” opening.
Spencer and Crowe met in their 20s and had an on-and-off again relationship before tying the know in 2003. They have two children, Charles, six, and Tennyson, three.
Digital Spy picked up the story on Spencer’s gushing: “He’s a sensitive soul, very romantic. He’s a soulful, loyal person who has deeply enriched family values. I know he’s someone I can count on. I don’t think I’ve tamed him, I just think there’s a natural progression when you become a parent and are relaxed and happier,” she adds.
“I do believe that things happen when they are meant to, and we were both ready to marry. Russell and I had graduated back to each other a number of times over the years, so it definitely started to feel like there was some force at work.”
She added: “I’m open to the idea of magic, some little romantic part of me likes to believe in some of that stuff without calling myself a raging lunatic.”
Gosh, Danielle, TMI — don’t ya think?
