He was fabulous as a mentor! He is a wonderful music arranger and singer. He is opinionated and doesn't pull punches...yet, he reached all the contestants in a very encouraging, positive way. The biggest plus, is that he was fun to watch. He has a terrific personality and he's current. I’d prefer to see Harry Connick, Jr. as the new American Idol judge. He was fabulous as a mentor! Look at him! His wig is about to fall off. And believe me, I know FAR more about music than him. He sucks. I sing in my shower every day and wight beautiful songs. I won't share them with anyone because they are TOO good! Also Elton John stole some of my greatest ones and changed them around. Like my "Eyeliner girl" song I wrote. He took that and just called it "Island girl". See the similarity? Also I'm willing to replace Simon for only 1 million a season. Wow, what a savings!! 33 million for that? Look at him!
