Hollywoodnews.com: Katherine Heigl’s next film will keep her young forever – onscreen that is.
The former “Grey’s Anatomy” star has signed on to the Lakeshore-Sidney Kimmel production “The Age of Adaline” in which she’ll play a woman at the turn of the 20th century who never ages due to an accident. When she meets the man of her dreams, she must give up her immortality.
Cameras will start rolling in October, however producers are still looking for a director and a male lead. Script was written by Mills Goodloe and Sal Pascowitz per the Hollywood Reporter.
“Adaline” is the third feature that Sidney Kimmel and Lakeshore are co-producing and the second with Heigl.
Their previous project with the actress is “One for the Money” which Lionsgate will release. Heigl also starred in the Lakeshore romantic comedy “The Ugly Truth” which made over $205 million worldwide.
Actress’ next film is the action-romantic comedy “Killers” which Lionsgate is also distributing on June 4.
