Jennifer Aniston, Jason Bateman have “Horrible Bosses”

By HollywoodNews.com

Hollywoodnews.com: New Line is prepping the workplace murder comedy “Horrible Bosses” headlining Jason Bateman and Charlie Day (“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”). Film will be directed by Seth Gordon and produced by Brett Ratner’s label Rat Entertainment.

The project has been through a string of actors throughout the years, i.e. Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn; Ashton Kutcher and Dax Shepherd. However, inspired by the success of “The Hangover,” New Line is shaping the project as more unknown thespian chemistry over star power. The Hollywood Reporter broke the news today.

New Line is looking to lock A-list names in the roles of the bosses, at present — Jennifer Aniston and Colin Farrell.

“Bosses” tells the stories of three best friends who are in the dumps over their jobs. They’re only salvation is to off each other’s superiors. A third protagonist has yet to be cast opposite Bateman and Day.
