Jimmy Kimmel to host 1-hour special on 6/23 with the stars of “Eclipse”

By Kim Palacios Feeling kind of lonely now that today’s Oprah Show featuring the stars of Twilight has aired? News about the latest special featuring our favorite stars just might keep you warm. It was reported today that on June 23rd (the day before the Los Angeles red carpet premiere of “Eclipse”), Jimmy Kimmel will host an hour-long special featuring Twilight’s biggest stars.

Cleverly titled “Jimmy Kimmel Live: Twilight Saga: Total Eclipse of the Heart”, the special is set to air from 10:01PM to 11:00PM Eastern. Reportedly confirmed for the show are principal actors Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner. Dakota Fanning (Jane), Bryce Dallas Howard (Victoria), and Xavier Samuel (Riley), and unannounced special guests are also slated to attend.

The most recent appearance of Rob, Kristen, and Taylor on Jimmy Kimmel occurred on November 20th—the show is archived in its entirety on a special section of the Jimmy Kimmel Live web site, called “Twilight Night”. ABC is rumored to have said that the upcoming show will be the only joint prime time appearance by the Rob/Kristen/Taylor tri-fecta. Though few details are available about the focus of the special, fans can only hope for another memorable run.
