Chris Hemsworth on “Thor” shoot: “It was a hell of a time!”

Hollywoodnews.com: Now that “Iron Man 2” has opened in theaters and fans have weighed in, Marvel Comics followers can only turn their attentions to Kenneth Branagh’s “Thor,” the next film in a series of adventures that will build to the 2012 release of the multi-hero “Avengers” film.

Earlier, we got our first look at Thor as he’s being played by Chris Hemsworth (pictured above). Today, the young actor reveals a bit about what it was like shooting the picture with Branagh and crew.

“It was a hell of a time,” Hemsworth tells SuperHero Hype, saying that they just wrapped a four-month shoot. “It was such an incredible four months shooting that film, and I think the film’s going to be fantastic.”

“Thor” kicks off the Summer of 2011 (opening May 6), which also will include Joe Johnston’s “Captain America” film, starring Chris Evans as the star-spangled superhero. “The Avengers” comes out the following summer, and allegedly is being directed by Joss Whedon (though that has not been confirmed by Marvel Studios just yet).
