Robert Pattinson to appear on Ellen on Wednesday 5/19

By Kim Palacios

As the premiere date approaches, each week will see more of our Twilight stars emerge for television appearances to promote “Eclipse”. Up next week is another dose of Robert Pattinson who, this time, will be appearing alone. Since the Oprah Show taping, fans are scrambling for the next sources to let them get their fix. On Wednesday 5/19, Rob will appear on The Ellen Degeneres Show.

He’s been on Ellen before, and from the web site teaser, they seem excited to have him back, referring to him as “one of the hottest guys on the planet” and calling his appearance “one of the biggest shows of the season”. As predicted, Rob will spill about “Eclipse”, but the description of his appearance throws in another teaser: “[Rob] might weigh in on Team Edward”. Also appearing on the May 19th episode will be musical guest, Adam Lambert

And, if you just can’t wait for Rob’s appearance on Wednesday to get your Twilight fix, tune in on Tuesday the 18th to See Nikki Reed. She’s got secondary billing (after “The Office”‘s Steve Carell). In addition to speaking about “Eclipse”, and her experience filming it, she’ll be giving one lucky audience member a ticket to the red carpet premiere.

Check your local listings for times, and check out YouTube for earlier footage of Rob on The Ellen Show! below.
