Lindsay Lohan to skip court appearance due to “stolen passport” Yesterday we reported that Lindsay Lohan headed over to Cannes to spend a few days at the film festival. She is supposed to attend a court appearance tomorrow, otherwise her judge has stated that he will issue an arrest warrant against her if she fails to show up. So you would think that she would do everything in her power to make this her priority, since it’s obvious by now that she can’t run away from the situation.

Now her attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, has told Radar Online that Lindsay failed to show her passport while trying to board a flight. They also report that Holley told them, “Lindsay is doing everything in her power to get back to L.A. She tried to get on her flight yesterday without her passport and was turned away. We were working into the wee hours of the morning trying to get her a temporary passport in order to get her home.”

However, her Los Angeles attorney who is taking care of her case stated that she is sorry for Lindsay if the story is true, but if it is another excuse she stated, “I can tell you that Judge Revel will take that very, very seriously. Judge Revel and I are both going to be looking into this further, to see exactly what happened. If she is looking to make a non-appearance, we will take that very seriously.”

Can’t this girl just get something right?
