Four Celebrity Fashion Trends to Avoid and Why

HollywoodNews.com: Although we often look to celebrities for style inspiration, there are times when our favorite fashionistas (or, perhaps, their stylists) lead us astray. It’s often not a reflection on their usual fashion sense. Between

staying on top of the ever-changing trends and feeling the pressure to make a statement at parties and red carpets, they’re all bound to make a bad choice here and there. Luckily, we can learn from their mistakes. Here’s a rundown on what celebrity trends aren’t worth the money or the time it takes to recreate them.

Drop-Crotch Pants

Unless your name is Aladdin or MC Hammer, you have no business wearing drop-crotch pants. If you believe that clothing should actually flatter your body and improve your appearance, I’m sure you agree this trend isn’t worth the cash you’ll spend to look like a shapeless blob. Celebrities like Will.I.Am have worn pants where the crotch drops down below the knee. If you feel left out because all of your hipster friends are already wearing these pants, don’t worry. This is merely a passing trend that hit a few runways, but will never seriously take off.
