Kara DioGuardi reunites with Demi Lovato, Jonas Brothers for “Camp Rock” sequel Before “American Idol,” superstar judge Kara DioGuardi had “Camp Rock,” the hit Disney production that featured The Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato. Now that a sequel is in the works, Disney is getting the whole band back together … DioGuardi included.

“She worked on a lot of the first ‘Camp Rock’ songs too, and then she went on to do ‘American Idol,’ and I remember watching her on ‘American Idol’ and being like, ‘Oh! That’s Kara! That’s awesome!'” Lovato told MTV News, confirming that the singer-songwriter-judge returned and did “a lot” for the “Camp Rock 2” soundtrack.

“It was great to work with her again after she’s had so much success. It’s been so awesome. I’ve been so happy for her,” Lovato said.

Lovato and the Jonas siblings go on to reveal to MTV what their favorite songs off of the “Camp Rock 2” soundtrack are, so click here if you’d like to find out. The songs can be heard this summer when Lovato tours with the Jonas clan.

“Camp Rock: The Final Jam” airs Sept. 3, on the Disney Channel. And DioGuardi, of course, can be seen on “American Idol,” which concludes its current season next week.
