“United States of Tara’s” John Corbett lives on the studio lot

HollywoodNews.com: John Corbett has an unusual living arrangement during “United States of Tara” production.
“Most of the people who work on the show live within 20 minutes of the studio, but my place in Santa Barbara is three hours away, so I kind of live there during the week,” he tells us.
He lives at the studio?
“I do. They gave me an apartment right there on the studio lot. It’s like the old days. I go out and have dinner and drinks with friends – usually with my guitar player – ‘til about 1:30 in the morning, then I come back.
“I’m the only one there, me and the security guards.”
Isn’t it kind of creepy? We’ve heard too many stories about setside trespassers and haunted soundstages.
Admits the actor cum country music artist, “It was scary for the first two days, but then I got used to it and it’s a nice vibe. I’m there all day long when the place is jumping. There are a lot of sitcoms there. So having it to myself at night is a little treat.”
