Jake Gyllenhaal surprises fans at early “Prince of Persia” screening

Hollywoodnews.com: Sometimes that guy sitting in the front row of the movie theater who looks exactly like Jake Gyllenhaal actually is Jake Gyllenhaal!

The Oscar nominee attended an advanced screening of his upcoming blockbuster “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time” at an AMC Theater in Century City, Calif., according to People Magazine.

“The crowd went crazy when Jake entered,” a source said.

Gyllenhaal thanked the fans for their support, and cracked jokes about his female competition in “Sex and the City 2,” which opens the same day as “Persia.”

“This is the real Sex and the City,” Gyllenhaal reportedly told the audience of admirers.

“Prince of Persia,” produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and directed by Mike Newell, opens Friday, May 28.
