Smallville’s James Marsters gets engaged

HollywoodNews.com: James Marsters was known as the famous Spike character on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Since then he has appeared on “Smallville” and “Without A Trace,” among others. Now he has something else to be happy about and it doesn’t involve landing a new gig.

The 47-year-old has just proposed to longtime girlfriend Patricia Rahman, who is only 24 years old, reports People.. The two met each other when he was playing with his band in Amsterdam. In 2006 he told them, “I met her backstage and got her phone number, but then my jeans were cleaned out by the crew and they threw it out. I’d given her my number, but she took down one digit wrong. It took her six months to call all of the different combinations.”

The wedding is scheduled to take place this fall.
