Dustin Lance Black celebrates Harvey Milk Day

HollywoodNews.com: Dustin Lance Black plans on knocking on some doors tomorrow in some Southern California neighborhoods that supported the anti-gay marriage initiative Proposition 8.

He is part of a massive effort taking place across the state in honor or the first annual Harvey Milk Day.

“I know that many hearts will be opened and many minds will be changed,” says Lance who won the Academy Award last year for his screenplay of the movie Milk.

    Millions of people Marched and Demanded yesterday. Gay advocates are taking to the streets and we will not shut up or behave until we have our full rights and projections.

    GetEQUAL and Dan Choi are our new leaders. We are Marching to that Mountaintop of freedom from the oppressors. By the Summer there will be 10 million activists in the streets. Blocking traffic and standing in the way of hatred.
