Lindsay Lohan told not to come home from Cannes despite having new passport

HollywoodNews.com: Lindsay Lohan has been the center of attention this week since she claimed that her passport was “stolen” while she was in Cannes. This forced her to miss her court appearance, which eventually forced her to post bail in order to avoid from being arrested. While the whole “stolen” passport seemed a little far fetched considering her history, it turns out mother Dina Lohan has come forward to admit some details that the judge is probably not going to take lightly.

Dina told in an interview with Radar Online that Lindsay was told not to return to Los Angeles even though she had gotten a new passport. She states, “We did what we had to do to protect her. We did that for court purposes and the warrant purposes.” In this case she pretty much blames their criminal attorney on the order stating that he “pretty much tells us which direction to go.”

In regards to the stolen passport, she insisted saying, “It’s not her fault her passport was stolen. It was stolen. We have proof that that was to happen. She knows she was compliant with the classes.”

She also went on to say how she feels that Lindsay is being treated harsher because she is a celebrity and that the judge “wasn’t quite fair.”

We always knew there was something fishy going on with the “stolen” passport story.
