“Glee” returns for a Third Season

HollywoodNews.com: In some of the greatest news to grace the media today, our favorite show “Glee” has been picked up for a third season. Not only has the show gotten Neil Patrick Harris to guest star, but they have managed to convince Madonna and Lady Gaga to give them their songs to cover. The number one scripted series among adults 18-49 and 18-34 has become a cult phenomenon, inspiring “Glee” clubs in high schools all over the country.

So now we’re proud to hear that they will be returning for a third season, reports Entertainment Weekly. Creator Ryan Murphy voiced his excitement stating, “It’s been a whirlwind year – from shooting the pilot to performing at the White House to the concert tour that began last week – and yet we all feel like we’ve just begun this amazing musical journey. We think our Gleeks worldwide are going to love what we’ll have in store for them in seasons two and three.”

Fox Entertainment’s President Kevin Reilly added, “Everything about “Glee” – from the concept to the characters to the marketing – has been innovative and risky, but with [series creator] Ryan Murphy tapping into the zeitgeist, the risk has paid off with this truly remarkable series. “Glee” has one of the most active, devoted fan bases I’ve ever seen, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to give Gleeks a third season of their favorite show.”

We can’t wait to see what they have in store for us Gleeks!

“GLEE” GOES GAGA
