Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York’s rollercoaster of scandal

hollywoodnews.com: According to “News of the World,” Sarah Ferguson, The Duchess of York, asked for £500,000 pounds to make an introduction to Prince Andrew.

“Andrew said to me: ‘Tell him £500,000’. Look after me and he’ll look after you”

The video tape shows Sarah having wine and telling the person in the room that they can wire the money to her bank account.

She is clearly desperate – without a “pot to p*ss in”, she says. But that cannot excuse her behavior, abusing her title and royal connections to feed her greater greed, reports “News of the World.”

“News of the World” says that Buckingham Palace has not commented on their revelations but that sources close to the Duchess have reportedly responded, saying she is “devastated” and “regretful”.

As per the Associated Press, the duchess said in a statement released Sunday that she had financial problems, but “that is no excuse for a serious lapse in judgment and I am very sorry that this has happened.”

Sarah is expected in Los Angeles later today where she is scheduled to pick up an award for her charity work.
