Idina Menzel talks “Glee” and Lady Gaga

Hollywoodnews.com: Idina Menzel discussed how vibrant it was to perform an acoustic duet of Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face” on the next episode of “Glee” with Lea Michele.

“I don’t channel Lady Gaga,I’m just in awe of Lady Gaga,” Menzel says about her preparation for the song. Prior to her performance, Menzel didn’t know much about Lady Gaga, and now she’s a die-hard fan.

“Now, I’m obsessed,” she exclaims to MTV news which got the early scoop.

“Anytime someone so young has such a definitive take on their own style and what they want to put out there in the world, I’m just always so in awe of that because when I was that age I didn’t know who I was or what I wanted.”

Menzel cut her teeth on Broadway, performing in such hit musicals as “Wicked.”
