Kristen Stewart in Flaunt Magazine’s Behind the Scenes Video
By Tracy Rosenfield
HollywoodNews.com: For months, we’ve been hearing about Kristen Stewart’s photo shoot with Yu Tsai in Flaunt Magazine. The issue finally hit stands and it was gone before you had a chance to know it was there. For those that missed the issue – and for those that want to see MORE – Flaunt.com recently released a behind the scenes video that shows some fantastic outtakes, as well as Kristen’s thoughts on acting, life and love.
Stewart said the set of the shoot took her back both to “Into the Wild” and her recent biopic, “The Runaways”; “Into the Wild” because of the trailers, which was her home in that film and “The Runaways” because “you live in a decrepit trailer park, but you look nice.”
Stewart described the shoot as “fun” and “not too contrived”, confidently admitting that she doesn’t think she’s usually good at doing photo shoots.
Though the Flaunt shoot clearly shows off Stewart’s glam-rock look, she shies away when asked what “inner beauty” means to her. She runs her fingers through her hair and gives the KStew “huff.” Pan back a few seconds later and she’s still contemplating the question, this time with another huff and a smile, resigning to the fact that she can’t, or won’t answer.
Another interesting tidbit coming out of this video is that Stewart says she’s never dated anyone she’s initially been attracted to. Depending on who you believe Kristen is or isn’t dating at the moment, you’ll recall that when Robert Pattinson was first cast as Edward Cullen in “Twilight”, fans of the series were up in arms, stating that Pattinson couldn’t fulfill that “beautiful” of a role. He fooled us all.
Stewart was calm and relaxed during this video – different from her usual quirky self in interview situations. With both excitement and a sense of serenity, Kristen says she has a “clean horizon” not knowing what her next project is and “to have a clean horizon is pretty nice.”
Enjoy it while it lasts, Kristen. We have a feeling they’ll be another tidal wave of projects coming your way.
