Complete “24” series will reach DVD in December

Hollywoodnews.com: Do you miss Jack Bauer already? Never fear. 20th Century Fox has got your back.

The studio’s home entertainment wing just announced that the final “24” season will be available for purchase or rental on Dec. 7. It will come in standard DVD and Blu-ray format. In season eight, “24” moved to New York City, where super agent Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) found himself dragged into another international mess.

But that’s not all. Fox also plans to release “24: The Complete Series” in a collectible DVD box set on the same date. The box will include seasons 1-8, as well as bonus features for each season including deleted scenes, behind-the-scenes footage, a comprehensive retrospective that looks back at the show’s complete run, an alternate ending for the series finale and much more.

December seems like a long way off, but “24” fans know how quickly that ticking clock can move!
