Lee Dewyze’s “Slumberland” reaches #17 on Billboard Top Heatseekers chart

HollywoodNews.com: Chicago, IL’s LEE DeWYZE has won the competition! Last night, Lee was announced the winner at the season finale, competing against one other finalist. Only adding to his success, Lee’s Wuli Records release, Slumberland, has reached #17 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart! Lee DeWyze is the first singer in the competition to have a record charting on Billboard during the show. In addition to this great chart position, So I’m Told is at #24 on the iTunes Top 100 Pop USA Album chart! LEE DeWYZE is scheduled to appear this Friday, May 28th on the Ellen DeGeneres show.

LEE DeWYZE has two previously released records available for purchase now! The notable records, Slumberland and So I’m Told, feature producers Ryan McGuire and guitarist extraordinaire, Louis Svitek, well known for his work with Ministry, M.O.D. and Mind Funk. The collaboration is an evocative, haunting mix of multi-instrumental, multi-faceted songs whose artistry draws comparison to Jack Johnson and Chris Martin.

Lee is soooooo solid. And I am loving getting introduced to his Slumberland songs. He is about as solid and soulful as a musician can be. Best of luck Lee.
