Dennis Hopper didn’t finalize divorce before death, probate battle looms

Hollywoodnews.com: Hours after Dennis Hopper passed away, there is news brewing that there will be a battle over his estate with his wife Victoria Hopper.

Prior to this death, Dennis tried to divorce Victoria, filing in January. However, it was never finaled. Under the prenup, TMZ reports that Victoria is to receive 25% of Dennis’ worth, plus a $250,000 life insurance payout – but only if they were married and living together.

Per TMZ:

That ‘living together’ part is critical because Victoria has been living in a separate house, on the same property as Dennis. Sources tell us Victoria will argue that since she was on the property, she was living with Dennis — and is therefore entitled to the big payout.

Hopper’s attorney Joe Mannis expects Victoria to challenge the estate.
