‘Prince of Persia’ brings in another $61M overseas

HollywoodNews.com: There’s already talks for a sequel to “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time” film starring Jake Gyllenhaal and the recent activity at the overseas box office could help this idea. The film opened this weekend and on Friday alone brought in $10.2 million.

Reports from the holiday weekend are coming in and it has brought in an estimated $61 million overseas, reports Box Office Mojo. In addition, they report that the studio is hoping to bring in another $6 million before the day is over.
