“Glee’s” Chris Colfer remembers being bullied in high school

HollywoodNews.com: As Kurt on Glee, Chris Colfer’s character is bullied a lot and yet he refuses to be anything less than himself. It seems that Chris, who just turned 20 last week, handled things similarly when he was in high school not that long ago.

During an appearance on The View, Whoopi Goldberg asked Chris if he was bullied in school. He replied: “Every day. I kind of sound like I’ve been sucking on helium all day so I was teased about that a lot. I was very theatrical growing up and from a small, conservative town so that didn’t really work out.”
