George Clooney’s g.f. says “me scusi” to Jennifer Aniston

Hollywoodnews.com: George Clooney’s Italian girlfriend of one year, Elisabetta Canalis, 31, doesn’t capisce Twitter. More specifically, she accidentally tweeted a catty comment about Jennifer Aniston and is apologizing for her actions.

What occurred was that Canalis accidentally re-tweeted another person’s Italian message according to US: “I’m browsing again through the pages of Rolling Stone. Iggy Pop on the cover looks exactly like Jennifer Aniston.”

Upon hearing that she slammed Aniston, Canalis poured on the scusi, tweeting: “I JUST READ ON GOOGLE That I TWEETED something bad about J Aniston, let me be clear,it’s a complete LIE,I would never do that!!”

Canalis has a problem with Twittering. She doesn’t even known what re-tweet means. Again, there is no word in Italian for “re-tweet.” On Wednesday, still with the scusi, Canalis tweeted: “But I don t know what to do with somebody who doesn t understund that it was a MISTAKE to retweet what SOMEBODY ELSE wrote ok?!?”

Stanno tutti bene, Elisabetta. Everyone is fine.

I think it’s crap to say she doesn’t know what re-tweet is. She re-tweets stuff from PETA all the time. If she”s going to say it–at least own it. Now she just looks ridiculous. Can’t George find someone just a LITTLE classier?

What apology? She hasn’t apologized. She is claiming it was an accident, which is an obvious lie. Canalis has been using Twitter for a couple of months and retweets stuff from PETA all the time, so she knew what she was doing.

she knows what retweet is. this is not the first tim she twittered. However, the real point is this; if you have insulted someone (knowingly or unknowingly) the respectful and MATURE thing to do would be to apologize. You would think that being with someone as respected and mature as george clooney she would realize the importance of apologizing even if it is a mistake.

She must be dumber than a bag of hammers. It’s obvious that she’s lying, since she has been retweeting things since she first started using Twitter. And no, it was not a planned publicity stunt, since a real apology would have been made if that were the case. She tried to get some publicity out of it but is too arrogant and stupid to even do that well. As it stands now, everyone knows she intentionally retweeted the comment and is now lying about it. She has even tried to blame Twitter. She’s done everything except take responsibility.
