Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner’s 6/17 appearance in Italy to be streamed live

By Kim Palacios Via its web site today, announced that it will be streaming live footage from a fan event linked to Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner’s 6/17 appearance in Rome. The event (put on by Eagle Pictures) is part of the Italian leg of the stars’ European “Eclipse” promo tour, and will be attended in person by some 1,700 local fans.

At the event, Kristen and Taylor will ask questions about their experiences shooting the Twilight films, and fans will see a 10-minute long preview of “Eclipse”, which opens on June 30 in Italy. For attending fans, big-screen showings of “Twilight” and “New Moon” will also be offered.

So, what if you don’t speak Italian? Good question. Since the event is primarily targeted to Italian fans wishing to participate in the event, Anglophones may be out of luck. Though, it is likely that, on a live feed, the stars may first be heard answering questions in English before said responses are translated for local fans. In the past, some video taken at promo tours outside of the U.S. has been subtitled in English after the fact. Let’s hope that, in this case, ultimately shares the event with the rest of the Twilight fan world.
