7 Minutes of Mortal Combat footage hit online

HollywoodNews.com: A new Mortal Kombat movie is listed on IMDB to release sometime in 2013, which is quite some time from now. However, seven minutes of footage from what appears to be the new movie has surfaced online.

The clip features Michael Jai White as Jax, a fight scene featuring Johnny Cage, and a high production value to say the least.Chud states that the clip comes from fight choreographer Larnell Stovall who previously did the fight scenes for “Undisputed 3: Redemption.”

They also state that they are 99% sure that this clip is related to the movie and not just a promo for the “Mortal Kombat” game in time for E3.

Do you think this is some real footage or all just to hype up E3?

    This looks Ok but i’m not real happy what using Baraka as a dr or he is a takartan warrior so
    if Warner Brod does the real MK movie reboot following the story about the tournament and follow character development from the games like the first MK movie did they follow the story about the tournament so this remake should follow the storyline in the same path and fatalities in the film would good for fans and The Great Kung Lao should be shown in the movie in the beginning when he fights Goro that would be cool.
    So thats it.
