Amy Winehouse cleans up her image thanks to new boyfriend
HollywoodNews.com: Turns out Amy Winehouse’ s new boyfriend Reg Traviss is a bit of a Professor Higgins.
The British Media has been praising the guy as the catalyst which has cleaned up Winehouse completely in recent weeks. The soul singer has apparently given up drinking, drugs and smoking.
Winehouse’s best friend Sam Shaker tells U.K.’s The Sun, “She is totally transformed. I am so proud of her. She has stopped drinking and even stopped smoking completely. Reg has sorted her out. She drank virgin Marys all night, not a single alcoholic drink.
“Even last week she was drinking sangrias but I told her how proud I was and she says she is the happiest she has ever been. He’s made a new person of her. He is a civilized man, a gentleman. She is so blissful and has turned herself around for him. She said she has new music coming out soon and she will be fit and healthy to promote it.”
The couple were spotted at a star-studded party thrown by Universal Music exec LUCIAN GRAINGE at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in London.
The Sun marvels, “It’s the best she’s looked for ages. Here’s hoping this relationship lasts.”
