Simon and Garfunkel tour postponed indefinitely

HollywoodNews.com: This comes as no shock.

In typical, Simon & Garfunkel fashion, the duo have indefinitely postponed their Live Nation tour. The famed pop folk singers have a history of breaking up and getting back together.

Pollstar reports that Art Garfunkel has voice ailment. The duo’s tour began with a single playdate at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, which was suppose to be the crooners’ only performance.

This spurred a tour schedule of Canadian stops in April plus venues in North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan and New Jersey. However, audiences at Jazzfest found Garfunkel’s voice squeaky prompting the tour to cease until July. Not it’s completely off as Garfunkel has been diagnosed with vocal paresis.

“I do feel bad about disrupting so many people’s plans but, as I continue to mend, I can’t yet bring my ‘A Game’ to a tour, and I would not perform for you with anything less,” Garfunkel said.
