Angelina Jolie visits Haiti
HollywoodNews.com: What’s Angelina Jolie doing in Haiti? No one knows and the United Nations is mum, but it’s obviously connected to charity work following the earthquake epidemic.
The actresses returned to Port-Au Prince for meetings with U.N. officials. Jolie is a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. She aimed to keep her visit low-profile per Wonderwall.
U.N. officials only agreed to talk about the trip if they weren’t quoted.
Since the earthquake, the “Salt” thespian has visited Haiti several times often meeting with orphans and earthquake victims.
In her travels with the U.N., Jolie has visited Iraq, Thailand, Pakistan and other countries on behalf of the U.N. refugee agency.
