Kristen Stewart drops hints that she is open to a role in “Wanted” sequel

By Kim Palacios

hollywoodnews.com: In not-so-subtle comments to MTV, Kristen Stewart hinted that she would love a role in a sequel to “Wanted”. Granted, she was prompted to field questions about the rumor, which has been swirling for upwards of two months. Yet, unlike many other rumors the star is quick to dispel, she admitted interest in this particular one.

In true Kstew fashion, she prefaced her answer to whether she’s interested in the “Wanted” role with a few noncommittal words. “I mean, like, it’s weird to answer questions like this. The only two projects that I’m confirmed in now are ‘On the Road’ and ‘Breaking Dawn’ 1 and 2.” The former is set to begin filming in August, and the latter two later this year.

Yet, she’s clearly a fan of the “Wanted” films. She called it a “great movie”, saying “James McAvoy makes that movie different than most other action movies because he’s a real guy, and I feel like most action movies don’t have that. So, if it had that [element], definitely. But I wouldn’t just want to be in a mindless, blow-up movie. I’m not into it.” More typical Kstew—asserting that she’s only interested in meaningful projects.

MTV also took the time to ask the star to confirm or deny rumors of an upcoming theatrical run in London. “People have been asking me that. That’s so weird. I don’t know where that came from…I’m just not doing that right now,” said Stewart.
