Tiger Woods misses another one of his children’s birthdays

HollywoodNews.com: Tiger Woods continues to surge forward with his career, but it seems as if his personal life is going in reverse. Elin Nordegren seems to be the one taking care of the kids lately, and after Tiger’s latest incident it appears as if she will continue to do so.

Apparently, Tiger missed his daughter Sam’s 3rd birthday on Friday, June 18th, because he was playing in the U.S. Open. Radaronline reports that he was going to make plans for Sam to be flown to California to be with him, but according to Elin this was never the case. A source told them, “It never happened. Instead, Elin had a birthday party for her at the house in Florida.”

Tiger already missed his son’s first birthday while he was in rehab and back then he vowed he’d “never miss another one after that.”

They say actions speak for themselves.

Stop painting Tiger as the villain. Elin was to fly Sam out to CA for her birthday because Tiger couldn’t come home. This was out of his hands so don’t make him out to be the bad guy.

It was reported that Elin and the children were planning to go to California on Friday to be with Tiger for their daughters’ birthday and maybe Father’s Day! Apparently this did not happen. We don’t know the reason. Maybe the idea was mutually considered and discarded because such a long plane trip for a couple of days may not have been in the best interest of the children since they recently returned from another long plane trip to China. Whatever the reason may have been, I think that it is quite deplorable and unacceptable that a parent miss important milestones in the life of a child.
