Christina Aguilera to celebrate Michael Jackson with tribute
HollywoodNews.com: Michael Jackson’s death seems like just yesterday, but this Friday will mark the one year anniversary of the tragic news. In order to celebrate the life of The King of Pop and pay tribute to his family, many celebrities will be giving performances during “The Early Show’s” hour-long broadcast tribute.
Christina Aguilera, Marc Anthony, LL Cool J, Smokey Robinson, and James Morrison will be part of the “The King of Pop: One Year Later” special that will debut on CBS News. Aguilera told US Magazine, “Music wouldn’t be what it is without someone like Michael Jackson. I remember going to my high school talent show singing ‘The Way You Make Me Feel’ and being a huge fan of his album Bad. I know all my dancers wouldn’t be behind me dancing if it weren’t for that.”
Anthony added, “A Michael Jackson comes around literally once in a lifetime. They break the mold and I think there’re people who just sacrifice their life, their personal life all for the arts. That’s what Michael did; he sacrificed his life for the arts.”
Make sure to tune into this memorable tribute.
