L.A. County Deputy D.A.: Chercez Lindsay Lohan’s Assistant
HollywoodNews.com: Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney Danette Meyers, who is overseeing Lindsay Lohan’s alcohol case, wants to speak to the thespian’s ex-assistant Eleonore Lieven.
Lieven quit working for Lohan earlier this month after a grueling short stretch of bad pay, bad hours and high stress. After three hellish days, a sleepless Lieven saved Lohan’s hide and returned her to the U.S. for her court date. Lohan, stranded at the Cannes film festival, claimed that she lost her passport in Cannes.
“The district attorney is very interested in Eleonore,” a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com.
“At the very least, an investigator from the D.A.’s office will be making contact with Lieven.
“A decision will be made about whether Eleonore will testify depending on what is gathered from the initial meeting with investigator.
“But if she is called, it could be very explosive and could very well go badly, very quickly for Lohan.
“Meyers wants to gather specific information about the particulars of when the assistant was notified about the passport missing.”
It was also recently reported that the alcohol education program overseeing Lohan’s sobriety was slapped with a subpoena to appear before a judge in the case.
Meyers served the troubled actor’s court-ordered alcohol education program, Right On Program, in Glendale, California, last Friday.
