Sylvester Stallone prepping John Gotti mobster film Sylvester Stallone is planning to make a movie about late mobster kingpin John Gotti.

In prepping the film, Stallone is working closely with the gangster’s son “Junior” John Gotti, whose tumultuous relationship with his father is the springboard for the project. Gotti died in prison in 2002. He was nicknamed by the Gotham newspapers as the “Dapper Don” for his elegant means of fashion and his celebrity attitude about town.

TMZ caught wind of the story.

In 1992, Gotti was convicted of committing 13 murders. “Junior” was nabbed for racketeering and was sprung from prison in 2005.

At one point in time, Gotti pushed the other New York crime families to put a hit on Rudy Giuliani in 1986 during his federal prosecutor days when he was throwing mobsters in jail.

No word as to who will play Gotti. At this point in time, Stallone is looking to hire a screenwriter.
