Miley Cyrus is excited to move into her $3.4 million house

Hollywoodnews.com: Miley Cyrus, 17, will be moving out of her parents’ home in November and into her new $3.4 million Toluca Lake estate in L.A.

“The first time I think I ever got a check and I knew what I wanted to do with it was actually recently,” reveals the Disney Channel singer.

“I bought my house and I want to decorate it the way I want and I think I worked really hard to be able to have a place that is purely my environment and exactly the way that I envision — kind of like a serene, tranquil place that can be just my space. There’s not many times I have something that is just mine.”

Showbiz Spy covered the story. The outlet also learned from Cyrus that she avoids reading any negative press about herself.

“I try to think of really just the positive things,” she said. “So the people that are around me, they bring me the good things, and I never see anything or read anything that’s bad because it’s never e-mailed to me by my manager or publicist or whoever.”

Cyrus recently dealt with an embarrassing situation: Perez Hilton posted an upskirt photograph of the underage performer on his Twitter causing a media stir. The singer dismissed Hilton’s shenanigans in a radio interview with Ryan Seacrest on his L.A. morning show.
