Robert Pattinson is hazy on Twilight Saga details

By Kim Palacios

hollywoodnews.com: Just because Robert Pattinson is hazy on some Twilight Saga details doesn’t mean we don’t still love him. Though, it is clear that the star will have some catching up to do before the cast starts shooting “Breaking Dawn”. Pattinson readily admitted in recent interviews that he has not yet read the final book in the Twilight Saga due to a busy shooting schedule for the past two years since its release. He plans to take it on after his current film, “Water for Elephants” wraps up.

But, not having read the book hasn’t stopped him from commenting openly on what he does know, and on topics interviewers have been asking about the most. In an interview with MTV, Pattinson said of the baby Renesmee plot twist in “Breaking Dawn”, “I think that’s very funny.” He went on to comment “The only thing I know about it is the famous scene: the kind of cesarean scene … I do not envy Bill Condon to have to think of some way to do that.”

During his appearance on “Twilight: Total Eclipse of the Heart”, a television special hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, Pattinson proved again that his knowledge of the books seems behind that of his colleagues. Whereas other cast members (such as Peter Facinelli and Kristen Stewart) alluded to subtler story elements and forgotten scenes when queried about things they wished had made it to the movies, Pattinson didn’t immediately know whether vampires could swim, when asked. He eventually concluded that they did, with a little help from a knowing audience.

Robert Pattinson is so utterly stupid it’s amazing. In every interview he sounds more and more like an idiot. I understand that he has a drinking problem, but his people should give him some sober up so he comes off as mildly coherent. Recently he said that he would want his son to play him in a movie. He won’t have to worry about that because no one wants to make movies for washed up teen stars. When they make the Corey Haim movie, they may make the Robert Pattinson movie. With the end of Twilight his fame is coming to an end and it can’t be soon enough. At least Daniel Radcliffe challenged himself in plays so he may get another good role. Pattinson has played the brooding James Dean wannabe in every movie. I have a lifetime membership to the Razzies and I’m nominating him for best actor for Remember Me. I’m also nominating that piece of crap for worst movie. I haven’t seen Eclipse but judging from the previews, Pattinson may sweep the Razzies this year. He can add them to his Teen Choice and MTV Movie Awards.

I think Robert is a great actor and he will be winning some top honors someday. You must be a guy who is jealous that his girlfriend will only sleep with him if she is looking at Robs pictures. Or maybe your a girl who is just a bitter little b****. Either way, you haters will not stop him from being a succes in the movie business. At least Rob has the guts to try and the best work he can. Your just a pathetic little cyberbully who likes to talk crap while sitting behind your computer..

I luv Robert Pattinson. He’s talented and gorgeous and so unassuming. I luv that he is the enbodiment of Edward Cullen but not consumed by him. I luv him as Tyler Hawkins in Remember Me just as much as in the twilight films. Let the other cast members be so “involved” in the whole ” team” crap and books – Robert will know everything thats necessary and needed when he has to do the movies. Right now he’s promoting Eclipse, he finished Bel Ami and he’s working on Water For Elephants I’d say his plate is full.

I think that it is easy to be a hater, especially when you do not know what the hell you are talking about!
I just watched the Haunted Airman, which starred Rob a few years back.
The movie is trite, but his acting abilities cannot be doubted.
I think that he will be around for a long time and continue to grow in his profession.
He is a doll and very smart.

Pattinson is not really into the Twilight books because HE IS A GUY. He does not exactly get to flex his acting skills in those movies. Watch him in Lilttle Ashes, Remember Me, How to be or The Bad Mother’s Handbook which will be out on DVD in August. He is much better in those films.. I would not call him stupid. His vocabulary exceeds most of the people that blog about him. He is only 24 and he has a long way to go. Give him some time.
