‘Entourage’ creator: Kevin Connolly isn’t a difficult director
Kevin Connolly is not a slave driver on the set of HBO’s “Entourage.”
Gossip surfaced recently that the show’s leading thesp, who is set to direct an episode, was difficult on the production, forcing actors and crew members to work long hours.
“Ridiculous,” says the show’s creator Doug Ellin to the L.A.Times, “absolutely ridiculous. He was as prepared and focused as any director I’ve had. There’s a rat on this set and it’s a weird thing. It’s got to be somebody with a personal thing against Kevin.”
Ellin was blown over by Connolly’s talent as a director that he’s “going to let him do another one next year.”
On Connolly’s feud with co-star Adrian Grenier during the shoot, Ellin defends, “Boys have arguments.”
Connolly is in pre-production on his first feature, “Adrenaline.” The seventh season of “Entourage” premieres Sunday.
