What will and won’t be included in final two ‘Harry Potter’ films?

By Whitney Milam

HollywoodNews.com: The Harry Potter fandom is abuzz with speculation on the intriguing new Deathly Hallows stills released today, purported to be captures from the official full-length trailer scheduled to air online tomorrow. A few of the images appear to show moments not found at any point in the book, leading fans to wonder how closely the two-part film will adhere to it, and exactly what beloved scenes will be included.

Personally, I’ll have to Avada Kedavra someone if we don’t get to see Mrs. Weasley’s takedown of Bellatrix or Nagini’s, uh, ‘surprise’ appearance in Godric’s Hollow in all their non-PG-rated glory, and Neville Longbottom (Matthew Lewis) definitely deserves for his crowning moment of badass to be seen on the big screen. Recent casting developments give us hope that we’ll get to see the epilogue scene and at least part of ‘The Prince’s Tale‘, but will the fimmakers do the Battle of Hogwarts (part of which seems to be pictured above) justice? What moments do you think the Deathly Hallows films can’t do without, and based on what we’ve seen and heard so far, how likely do you think they are to actually be included?

We’ll know a lot more (and have a lot more to obsess over) once tomorrow’s trailer airs, and one fan lucky enough to have seen it already describes it as “the best trailer of the year,” going on to describe its contents in detail, revealing that we’ll see everything from the seven Potters to Hermione as Bellatrix to a destroyed Hogwarts to two different dramatic confrontations between Harry and Voldemort.

How excited are we for tomorrow, Potter fans?

Haha I have to agree with you here –

I really hope, if they do include new scenes, that it will show the series darker, more meaningful side. Because I think Harry Potter gets so much crap for being pictured as just a ‘childs book’. A lot of people aren’t even slightly aware of half the messages that come out from Jk Rowlings work.

Can’t wait for the trailer, great article 🙂

I really hope they include the scene where Hermione gets tortured by Bellatrix!!!

Molly and Neville need their badass moments, McGonagall needs her duel with Snape, we need Hermione’s torture, and I hope they do justice to Gringott’s.
