Fans, Celebrities Tweet Reactions to “Deathly Hallows” Trailer

By Hanako M. Ricks

HollywoodNews.com: Twitter has been all abuzz with reactions to the new Harry Potter trailer, which debuted last night to high approval from fans and celebrities alike. As of this morning, the top two Trending Topics on Twitter are “Deathly Hallows trailer” and “Harry Potter trailer”, and the comments gave indication of how much fans are anticipating the final two installments to the Potter franchise.

Some of the reactions:

From actor Chris Rankin (@chrisrankin), who plays Percy Weasley in the series:

just seen the new HP trailer…pretty epic eh?

From other Twitter users:

@minagaine Oh. Em. Ef. Gee. Harry mother f**kin Potter!! That trailer was soooo amazing! Knocked my socks off!

@tokomokolika Awesome. Magnanimous. Earth shattering, hair standing, Pottergasm. Okay, so that’s not a word…

@travelingheidi The Deathly Hallows trailer? I disagree with one bit. It’s not the event of a generation. It’s the event of *generations*. Tears in my eyes.

@narnian_lullaby Impressions from Deathly Hallows Trailer: 1.epic 2.incredible 3.genius 4.WB better not screw this up after a trailer like that!!

@LewLew94 OMG The Harry Potter Deathly Hallows Trailer is the definition of the word “EPIC”

@kingsleyyy Watched the Deathly Hallows trailer and lost my excitement for Twilight because I was reminded of what epic really means.

Speaking of which, Twilight star Anna Kendrick, who has admitted to being a huge fan of the Potter series, also tweeted about the trailer, before and after it’s release.

@annakendrick47 before the trailer:

Deathly Hallows trailer online in 30! …………wait, what? NO, I didn’t say that, that would be so dorky…………. *squeee*

and then after:

HP7 trailer = That. Was. Awesome. It would be really awkward if I bought a ticket to Eclipse just to see that on the big screen, right?

Do you agree with the overall consensus? What did you like or not like about the trailer? Leave your comments below. And if you haven’t had the chance to view it yet, you can see the trailer below:

I hope the this would really give justice to J.K. Rowling’s last book. But these movies never really achieve half of the greatness of the book series. (Except maybe for the fourth)

OMFG!!!!!! it looks effing amazing. nothing NOTHING on earth can beat harry potter! its just epic and completely blows any other film this year out of the water.

and i don’t think that they are milking the film by putting it into two parts… HAVE YOU READ THE BOOK? over 600 pages long, you can not fit the whole story in 1 film without leaving loads of stuff out, plus you need to keep the whole story in because if you dont the story wont make sense

    I CAN’T WAIT TO NOVEMBER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 😀 😀 😀 😀
