Larry King wants Ryan Seacrest to replace him on CNN talk show

Hollywoodnews.com: Who would Larry King like to see fill his suspenders, err shoes on CNN?

“American Idol” host Ryan Seacrest.

King announced his choice on his show Tuesday night in a conversation with HBO talk show yakker Bill Maher.

“I can’t be objective because I don’t know his feelings, his interest in politics. But Ryan Seacrest…He is curious. He is interesting. He is likable,” King told Maher.

“The Larry King Live” show welcomes guests from all parts of the media.

“If he has a great interest in politics, I would recommend him,” asserted King.
Seacrest returned the compliment via Twitter according to Wonderwall exclaiming, “You’re a legend. One of a kind.”

Former First Lady Nancy Reagan, ABC anchor Diane Sawyer and Regis Philbin dialed King up on his show to give him their good lucks and goodbyes.
