Julie Walters Sad Over End of ‘Potter’

By Hanako M. Ricks

HollywoodNews.com: Julie Walters found herself close to tears during her final days of filming Harry Potter, realizing that she had watched the young actors grow from children to adulthood.

Walters, who plays beloved Molly Weasley in the series, told Hello! Magazine, “It was sad. They were all little tots when we started and now they are great big blokes and girls. I felt very sad on the last day. Being part of such a huge phenomenon was amazing. It has meant that a whole generation of children recognise me now.”

She also stated that she doesn’t get recognized a lot in public, due to her wearing a wig and body padding to play the motherly role; apparently Daniel Radcliffe didn’t even realize: “I had to point out to him that it’s all birdseed under my dress.”

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be in theaters November 19, 2010 (Part 1) and July 15, 2011 (Part 2).
