Hollywood Writers Flock to Cable

Michael Mann (“Heat”) is directing a pilot for HBO. Kathryn Bigelow (“The Hurt Locker”) will also helm an HBO vehicle. “Cable networks are so happy to get such incredible talent for little price,” proffers Sony exec Palak Patel.
