Javier Bardem to guest star on ‘Glee’
HollywoodNews.com: The lineup of guest stars for “Glee” next season continues to heat up.
Entertainment Weekly announced that Javier Bardem is slotted to play a rock star who befriends Artie, the handicapped student, (Kevin McHale) on the show.
Bardem’s connection to “Glee” stems from his work with the show’s creator Ryan Murphy on the Julia Roberts’ romantic film “Eat Pray Love.” Murphy directed the film. Sony will be unspooling “Eat Pray Love” on August 13.
Bardem has been a fan of “Glee” since first watching it.
“We’re going to rock the house,” Bardem tells EW, “We’re going to do some heavy metal — Spanish heavy metal, which is the worst.”
