Live Nation cuts 8 stops on the “American Idol” tour

HollywoodNews.com: The “American Idol” stars captivated audiences for weeks straight and now that the competition is over, it seems as if they’ve lost their charm.

Live Nation has just cut eight stops from the “American Idol Live!” Tour including shows in huge markets like Toronto and Cleveland, reports Popeater. The tour was supposed to end on September 16th but has now been slated to end on August 31st. In addition, Live Nation hasn’t given a reason for the cancellations, but it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure that one out.

Below are the list of dates that have gotten scrapped:

Aug. 21 — Portland, Oregon
Rose Quarter

Aug. 26 — Omaha
Qwest Center Omaha

Aug. 27 — Kansas City, Missouri
Sprint Center

Sept. 7 — Winnipeg
MTS Centre

Sept. 9 — Toronto
Air Canada Centre

Sept. 10 — Buffalo
HSBC Arena

Sept. 11 — Cleveland
Quicken Loans Arena

Sept. 14 — Pittsburgh
Consol Energy Center

Sept. 16 — Portland, Maine
Cumberland County Civic Center
