Jay-Z slams rumors of Illuminati affiliation on ‘Free Mason’

HollywoodNews.com: “I said I was amazing/ Not that I’m a Mason / I’m on my third six, but a devil I’m not,” raps Jay-Z on Rick Ross’s new track “Free Mason” in an impassioned defense against persistent accusations of involvement with freemasonry and the supposed occult connection of secret societies known as the Illuminati. The highly-anticipated collaboration track, which also features John Legend, premiered on Miami’s 99 Jamz by DJ Khaled and hit the internet late last night.

Hov goes on to further defend his spirituality in the song with, “Rumors of Lucifer, I don’t know who to trust / The whole world wants my demise, turn the music up / …Go to hell, this is God engineering.”

According to some conspiracy theorists, the Illuminati boasts membership of most of the world’s rich and powerful–Jay-Z included, along with Lady Gaga, who herself incorporates masonic imagery into her work, as Jay has often been accused of doing–and controls world affairs behind the scenes. It has connotations, for many, with devil worship and satanic symbols. “Free Mason” is a direct response to the most recent rumors of occultism in the video for “On to the Next One.”

Ross’s full album “Teflon Don” releases on July 20.

Why do they Judge Jay? I thought only god can judge us. The man stated he’s not a Mason and I will go with that—–I Ain’t GOD nor anyone else is but I cannot judge the Jay. I think the verse is hot and you gotta love it. I would felt the same way if “Rumors of Lucifer…” seems to follow you when you are high than anyone else. If all these so-called rappers are worshiping the devil then almost everyone; include you, support the devil, for instance, we buy their CD’s and listen to the songs and go to their hot concert and read the lyrics like the text in the bible, so, what makes you? I rather God judge him or them or them then me.

yes ^^^ above me your right<, if you listen to anything that is not Godly your worshiping the devil, plain and simple, the Illuminati are devil worshipers, they use high ranked artists and sport idols to promote devilish acts so you all can contribute to doing evil.. they are slowly brainwashing you into living your lives like the artist lives.and want you to copy there trend when you listen to there music , especially the same song over and over, your most likely going to try what you hear in that song…they want to keep you distracted from there plan to rule the world, they are the richest, they own our government (USA) they "own us" they use trey songs to talk about sex so you all can go out and start having sex, they use jay to show signs of the devil "all black everything jingle" im sure jay had many people wearing all black.use eminem to talk about depression so many people could feel down,…we don't make the money they do, they print our money, they are watching us, slowly brain washing us. "Illuminati want my mind soul and body, look it up, they own major company's like cbs,Columbia Records, aol,NBC, ABC, Los Angeles Times", "New York Times, Wall Street Journal", and the empires of Rupert Murdoch, "Time Warner", including "CNN", please repent. its not too late. follow Jesus read your Bibles

“Masonic symbols are everywhere” do you believe that ? In Africa you will find a lot of symbols mostly a triangle and an eye(the right eye of the eagle (BASOTHO tribe) that date from prehistoric times and now you believe that it’s Masonic

Masons, secret societies do not exist. Jay Z is not a member of any secret society. Sometimes BOOKS give you false STORIES.

So 4 comments in a row trying to persuade us that Freemasons/Illuminati don’t exist.

That right there proves to me they do exist.

I know this comment will never get posted

Let me guess- “Oh, no… he’s lying because he doesn’t want people to know the reptilians from quasar are going to use Kyptonite to destroy Superman”. You David Icke Nuwaubian captain crunch eating vegan conspiracy theorist retards will believe anything.

    @ Observer:

I agree with you. Jay-Z may not be a satanist but he is an egotist that has sold his sold for money and has occult beliefs. Who is this loser fooling? We wore a shirt that read the motto of Alestier Crowley’s Thelema doctrine. Man, I can’t stand Jay-Z. Then again, I don’t listen to any of these stupid mainstream rappers!

We make judgements daily, even subconcious judgements on people. “You shall know them by their works”. If I wear a KKK outfit, is it wrong of you to ‘judge’ me to be in with the KKK? Or if someone has a gun to your face is wrong to “judge” that they’ll pull the trigger? This is part of a mindset that has begun of passiveness, lets not care about the world going to crap, lets not care about our childrens future and lets not care about the thousands of rights the government takes away daily and lets not care about actors/artists being in secret societies pushing junk onto children that don’t know any better.

So sad.I don’t believe it.And for the people that say it’s in Africa. It’s from Egypt. It was for their religion. It wasn’t bad then but the Illuminati/Freemasons made it bad.Plain and simple.

I think you’ll find that Masonic imagery is used often, and not because people are part of the occult but because the imagery is so powerful. As an illustator I see it alot, and often play with the images myself, especially the triangle. The triangle is the strongest shape, and used in many contexts within art and design. I think people will find links where they want to, nothings better than a bit of gossip right?
