‘True Blood’ showrunner Alan Ball rolls another HBO pilot

HollywoodNews.com: “True Blood” showrunner Alan Ball will be serving up another great show to HBO in the near future.

Ball is on tap to bring the Charlie Huston novel “The Mystic Arts of Erasing All Signs of Death” to the pay cabler. Plot centers around a slacker who joins a crime scene clean-up crew in Los Angeles.

The Hollywood Reporter had the scoop.

Huston is known for his pulp work centering around young underachievers who are in the throes of crime and moral dilemmas.

“True Blood” returns with a fresh episode tonight.
