Johnny Depp’s girlfriend, Vanessa Paradis, reveals a big wedding would ‘terrify’ her

hollywoodnews.com: Vanessa Paradis has admitted she would be ‘terrified’ if she had to marry Johnny Depp in a traditional wedding. The 37-year-old, who has been with the actor since 1998, said the thought of a large wedding is just plain scary.

She told Hello! magazine: “A conventional ceremony with lots of guests, a church full of flowers and huge amounts of money being spent is in no way appealing to me. “I think I would find it more terrifying than anything else.” Johnny, 47, and the French actress and singer have two children Lily-Rose, 11, and Jack, eight but she said she can’t stand it when the family are forced to be apart, although the travelling exposes her children new experiences.

She said: “We can’t be apart for long. The kids like it too. “I hope it will make them broad-minded and open. As long as they have everything they need – which is a lot, about 40 bags – then we have as normal a life as possible.” And if she misses her family, there is always Skype, even if it is hard to say goodbye. “Skype is OK but I wouldn’t want to do it every day, it’s so hard to press stop,” she added.
